Greater than 2,100 kids will receive toys in Northwest Arkansas.

Greater than 830 families have come to the Salvation Army for assist in 2022. Its goal is to make sure that parents who’re struggling have the chance to provide their kids presents on Christmas morning.

While the Salvation Army commonly offers assistance with rent, utilities, and food, Maj. Nick Garrison with the Salvation Army says the Angel Tree program is just as essential.

“The enjoyment that provides a parent to know they’re in a position to provide that, the hope that brings to a family, the thrill that brings a toddler makes a long-lasting impact throughout this season,” Garrison said.

You possibly can become involved by going to a Walmart Supercenter or Sams Club in Northwest Arkansas, choosing an angel from the tree, and looking for the items. You then must return the items to the identical location on December 5.
