Travis Barker would do anything for his beautiful bride Kourtney Kardashian — and he’s not afraid to prove it!
As you recognize, the Poosh founder had been going through in vitro fertilization procedures with the tip goal of getting a baby with the professional drummer — and documenting all of it on their Hulu show The Kardashians. One scene specifically which fans will remember is when the 47-year-old had to offer a semen sample at one in all their many doctors appointments. Kravis asked the crew to show off the mics and cameras and leave — but Barker says it was necessary he be transparent with the intimate details.

In an interview with GQ from Thursday, the Blink-182 drummer revealed his reasoning behind the selection to share a lot of their IVF journey:
“If any of that might help people — seeing Kourtney’s journey through IVF, which is super hard for a girl. You saw her struggle with it and speak about it. That’s real.”
It’s so brave to place yourself on the market so intimately — but they’re definitely doing it for the fitting reasons! All of us have to see we aren’t alone, even among the biggest stars on the planet undergo the identical struggles as everyone else!
The musician also thinks it’s necessary he, as a person, normalizes his role in fertility. It’s not only a lady’s thing, people! He said he’s willing to point out the world every little thing to face by his wife — and after all to be “relatable” to other men going through the identical means of semen collection:
“I don’t care if I’m c**ming in a cup or whatever. It’s real life. And there’s nonetheless many thousands and thousands of dudes that need to go give their semen for this same procedure. So it’s, like, relatable, you recognize? I’ve never been fazed by any of that.”
Love that! Medical procedures ought to be normalized as much as possible! All of us need to be the healthiest and happiest versions of ourselves.
The IVF treatments are on hold for now, though, as we reported in September. The couple decided to take a break from the tough process and focus more on their family and themselves. The 43-year-old Kardashian told WSJ Magazine on the time:
“We began an IVF journey, but I ended. It was loads. I took a break to only deal with our wedding and getting married … We’ve got family dinner once every week at home with a chef after which besides that I really like to have one-on-one time with my kids. I attempt to either take them out to dinner or take them out to lunch. So, I probably exit 4 times every week. I really like Travis and I really like to exit to dinner, just us.”
