For Joey, joining the military means structure, a future and profession, but more importantly, a meal ticket out of her small town. All that goes out the window when she meets Rayna, a married mother of two, at the town fair. With Rayna, Joey finally seems like she has a purpose in life, and for Rayna, Joey is the shining light she’s been praying for. There are only a couple of obstacles standing of their way of a happily ever after including Rayna’s husband, the military, and the incontrovertible fact that gossip travels around their town on the speed of sunshine. Good thing they can not get enough of each other.
