A person hospitalized after shooting an injury

UNION CITY – A 25-year-old man was hospitalized after the shooting on Sunday, authorities said.

In statement On Sunday afternoon, police reported that officers had reacted shortly after 6:30 am to block 4200 Lunar Way to obtain a report of the shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a single gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police called the shooting an isolated incident, adding that they believed there was no ongoing threat to society.

This is the second shootout in town since shooting for injury around 1:20 am on Thursday at 35500 Seventh Street block. Officers who responded to the shooting found a 37-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
